Dutch MP, Geert Wilders, announced that he is planning to make an anti-Islam film. The guy, whose party holds 9 of the 150 seats in the Dutch parliament, is known for his ugly Islamophobia and he is not shy about expressing that all the time. His last move in that direction is his announcement that he made about his intentions making a film about the Holy Quran. The film is short (less than 10 minutes) and it should show his sick view about the Holy Quran as “a horrible and fascist book” that inspires people to commit “awful acts”.

He is hoping that “it will open peoples eyes to the fact that the Quran should be banned like (Adolf Hitler’s book) Mein Kampf (My Struggle).” I really have no clue how totally different books are linked together???!!!

This is not the first time Wilders describes the Holy Quran as a “fascist text”, he did that in August in an open letter to Dutch newspapers. What makes me sick of this guy is that he is using pubic ignorance about the Holy Quran. Anyone can take some verses from the Holy Book or even from the Bible, for sure without its actual context, and using it for his own sick goals. Geri Falwell did the same before describing Prohpet Muhammad (PBUH) as a terrorist on Fox News channel. I remember him expressing the same ‘malicious’ thoughts.

The public who has no idea about the contextual meaning of those verses in the Holy Quran, most probably will take Wilders’ sick views for granted. They have no clue why a particular verse was revealed and what the incident was. They will just interpret it literally. This is really bizarre and naive at the same time, because the verses only have meaning within certain specific contexts in the Holy Quran. This does not apply to the Holy Quran only. Any scholar or academic researcher knows that no one can conduct a subjective and constructive  critique of a novel or a short story without having it set in the context of its time. To understand those verses, you have to put it in its context.

Last Word

I hope all Muslim scholars and Imams in Holland and Europe go public on European TV channels and try to explain the importance of having those verses set in its historical, textual and chronological context.

Libyan officials said that this new requirement is justified since many Libyan airport officers cannot read English??!!!.

On Sunday (11/11/2007), 172 French tourists had been sent back on the same plane they arrived on because they did not have an Arabic translation affixed or stamped on their passport.  Another 83 French nationals were not able to leave the country for the same reason. So, apparently, the new regulation applies to foreigners seeking to leave as well.

My advice to anyone flying to Tripoli: please check with the Libyan embassy in your country and have your passport translated before you head to Libya.

وبعد أيام، أتت الإجابة وعرفت ما هي حقيقة الأمر، حسب رأيي طبعا وقناعاتي.

بعد يوم واحد، وجدت الحكومة اللبنانية تطلب مساعدات عسكرية عاجلة من أمريكا. ماذا؟؟؟ مساعدات عسكرية عاجلة لمقاتلة جماعة لا يتجاوز عدد أفرادها الـ 500 – 1000 مقاتل إن صحت الأرقام أساسا وإن كنت أعتقد أنهم أقل من ذلك.

ما هي أسباب هذه المعركة المفتعلة من قبل الجيش اللبناني؟

1) إرسال إشارة سياسية إلى حزب الله أن أمن الوطن (حلوة أمن الوطن دي) والسلاح لن يكون إلا بيد الجيش اللبناني. والعاقل من اتعظ بغيره.

2) حجة بغيضة وواضحة للحصول على سلاح من أمريكا بحجة مقاتلة فتح الإسلام وفي واقع الأمر هذا السلاح ما هو الإ استعداداً لأي حرب طائفية أو محاربة حزب الله مستقبلاً. فاليوم – 25 مايو 2007 – أرسلت 8 طائرات أمريكية حسب وكالة الصحافة الفرنسية فرانس برس محملة بالأسلحة والذخيرة إلى بيروت.

3) هناك أنباء أيضاً عن قدوم عسكريين أمريكيين من القوات الخاصة. فلماذ يا ترى؟ لمحاربة فتح الإسلام أيضاً؟ أشك في ذلك. أعتقد أن سلسلة من الاغتيالات ستحدث في لبنان قريبا والمستهدف الأخير في رأيي هو حزب الله ولكن بالطبع ستبدأ الحكومة اللبنانية بنزع سلاح الفلسطينيين أولا.

4) توجيه اللوم لسوريا مجدداً بعد أن خف الضغط عليها خصوصا بعد زيارة بيلوسي زعيمة الأغلبية الديمقراطية في الكونجرس. وقد وجدنا المدعو سمير جعجع يوجه الاتهامات لسوريا مباشرة وتبعه في ذلك طبعا سعادة “البيك” وليد جنبلاط.

الغريب والمستغرب فعلاً بالنسبة لي أن هذا الجيش اللبناني المتهالك لم يرفع بندقية ولم يطلق صاروخاً ولا دانة مدفع واحدة تجاه إسرائيل في حرب تموز بين حزب الله وإسرائيل.

A recent interview with the Shiite cleric Jawad Al-Khalsi on Al Jazeera channel incited me to write something about Sistani, especially after hundreds of angry Shiites poured onto the streets of south Baghdad to protest what they claimed insults by Al-Jazeera channel against Iraq’s most revered Shiite scholar. Moreover, the Iraqi parliament announced that they will sue Al-Jazeera TV and Iranian government banned Al-Jazeera reporters from entering its parliament. I cannot recall anything similar done by Shiites during the insulting Danish cartoons depicting prophet Muhammad (PBUH). Why Shiites glorify Sistani in such a way? Is he really worthy?!

Since the occupation of Iraq in 2003, the guy did not appear on any TV channel, even the Iraqi channels. This keeps me wondering if he really can speak Arabic. I strongly doubt it. Who is this Sistani?

According to Sistani’s website, the guy was born on 4.8.1930 in an Iranian city called Mashhad located in northeastern Iran. Here you go, the guy is apparently Iranian, not Iraqi !!!

His grandfather was a famous scholar who had studied in Najaf; a city in Iraq about 160 km south of Baghdad. Sistani’s family originally comes from Isfahan, an Iranian city. During the Safavid “pronounced Safawyeen in Arabic” time, his forefather Sayyid Mohammad, was appointed as “Shaikhul Islam” (Leading Authority of Islam) by King Hussain in the Sistan province. He traveled to Sistan where he and his family settled and he was later named after it. It is worth mentioning thought that the guy went to Iraq in 1951 to study in Najaf under the late Grand Ayatollah Abul-Qassim Khoei.

During Sadam Hussein’s regime, he escaped the persecution that came upon a lot of Shia cerlics. At that time, many people thought the guy keeps himself in his house in Najafa as a way of expressing protest against persecution, and some others attributed it to the house-arrest orders ordered by Sadam’s regime. Does this make sense????? to me, it does not. Why?

Since the occupation of Iraq in 2003, the guy did not appear on any TV channel. Though Iraq – according to Sistani – is liberated, he is totally secluded and inaccessible to Shittes themselves. Many people, especially in the Sunni world, believe that Sistani is – after Americans for sure – the real ruler of Iraq. One keeps wondering why high-profile politicians in Iraq pay regular visits to Sistani’s ‘cell’. Do they go there to get a fatwa allowing them to kill Sunnis in Baghdad? I have no clue.

I have never seen the guy talking. How such a ‘high-profile’ figure is so silent that he never even condemns in public the massacres that are harvesting Iraqi Sunnis. I believe the guy does not even speak Arabic. There is no other explanation to me. What is he doing in his ‘cell’ in Najaf?

Some people may say he is a mystic? Come on, even those can talk I would rather say, he is a mysterious guy though.

I should mention here that Bill Maher is taking the first part (shaking hands) out of context and he has no idea how the fatwa is based on. The second part about (anal sex), Siistani is totally wrong and it is forbidden in Islam.
